'lil Chef
i've gotta get several foods cooked or prepped, & then frozen. i would luv me an order of miso soup-

ham in the slow cooker with applejuice, roasted potatoes... I have 4 violin lessons late afternoon, so will get it all going before I go.
cinnamon spice doughnuts, using sourdough and yeast. making it up as I go. will let you know how it goes.
Daughter's birthday, but she's busy tonight, so will do dinner tomorrow night for her and a friend, will try and do something vegetarian, maybe stuffed shells or manicotti with a tomato sauce.

Hmmm. I have no leftovers. We will be gone most of the day. Maybe tonight will be takeout tacos unless something inspires me.

here's lunch. a simple cheese pizza... had to use up some of the crusts from the weekend.

sourdoughnuts look good, Now I have to clean my fryer, that's been on my list of things to do.

I'm in a seafood mood, so I'm thinking fried shrimp. Maybe I'll branch out and do some Buffalo Shrimp.

The cheese pizza looks really good, Phiddlechick.

Mini penne pasta with B/S chicken breasts (marinated in EVOO, Flaxseed oil, sea salt, ground peppercorns, ground red pepper flakes, fresh garlic, fresh basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme & onion powder) stir fried with the marinade till cooked through then broccoli rabe added to pan and sautéed till wilted and just tender, cooked penne added and mixed well, topped with fresh grated Romano & Parmesan cheeses served with a salad.

I'm still thinking, but my time is running out, obviously. It's a little cooler today. I think I'll make a meatloaf and some baked potatoes and fresh green beans.

Peeps, your salads are always so wonderful. Your dinner looks great, and I wish I had it RIGHT NOW.
Thank you Karen. The salad dressing is Good Season's Zesty Italian made with apple cider vinegar, apple oil and flaxseed oil and it has a really nice flavor.

Nice dinner Peeps! PC, those donuts are AWESOME looking!

I decided on Chicken Parmesan

Thanks Guts! A couple of months ago I got a new laptop that came loaded with amazing photo editing software (HP MediaSmart Photo) that lets me do all kinds of editing and then I also got a new Olympus Stylus 9000 12 megapixel camera that takes really good pics to start with so I just have fun "playing" with the pics till I get them just the way I want them. It really is some great software...I wish I was that good of a photographer...but I'm darn good at pointin' and clickin' :yum:

Mama, your chicken parm looks SO good. You get us so close to the food that we can almost smell and taste it...alot of it has to do with the camera angle that you choose. You are a really good food photographer - maybe you have another career ahead of you!

Here's our dinner - meatloaf, green beans with baqcon, baked potato half, some leftover cauliflower/broccoli from last night. Can't wait to have meatloaf sandwiches tomorrow!

Karen that looks fantastic!!

Thanks Karen! There's not a thing wrong with your dinner. I LOVE MEATLOAF SAMMIES. I like to put mayo on a piece of bread, then a thick slice of meatloaf and then ketchup and the other slice of bread

My daughter introduced me to a new way to eat meatloaf sammies a few years ago. Fry the meatloaf in a little butter first (adding cheese optional). Then plop it on a piece of bread with mayo, mustard, ketchup optional. Very tasty!

i so very agree w/ that unabashed luv 4 a meatloaf sammich- kepu-tch squeezins goes onto my sammiches, then here & there a-1 & worchestershire, seasoning (pepper/garlic), too. on plain bread.

I like to eat meatlof slices cold with nothing but S & P. Save the carbs. I have never been a big sammie lover. I have always prefered to eat cold cuts etc on their own and save the bread for garlic bread or dipping in something. LOL
