Hey everyone!
I’m an amateur home-cooking enthusiast who’s just started creating video recipe content on social media. My only wish is to see that there are other people out there who’ll love the dishes I love, and that when they try the recipe and make it themselves, they’ll want to share it with others. I think that’s the best part of eating—sharing. It’s such a communal act.
I’m trying to get my recipes out on a bunch of different platforms, but I’m running into so many headaches. Every popular platform has its own quirks, and honestly, I can’t compete with a silly cat video
It seems like each one uses a completely different visibility algorithm, revenue model, technical issues, etc.
Are there any other recipe creators here? Am I the only one who’s already this exhausted? I’d love to hear about any other challenges you’ve faced so far on those platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube etc.). What drives you the craziest?
