Ever wonder what was used.....

I could have sworn it was Hugo Montanegro (sp) and his orchestra, so I just went to look. I happen to have the album soundtrack from G, B & U.
I think that ukelele band is just showing what they can do, which is pretty cool.

That is soooo cool! I've seen the Good Bad and Ugly way more times than you would ever believe. My husband is going to love this. Thanks.

Good stuff, the GB rendition is excellent. Thought it sounded a little different from the movies I've probably seen a dozen times each - they come on tonight & I will watch them again. :punk:

It for the most part sounds the same so it wouldn't surprise me if they or instruments like there weren't used in the original movie. I've listen to those 3 sound tracks many times and though this rendition is a bit different it is still close enough for me. It is remarkable though just how good they are at it either way.

I wonder how many of you remember the guitar piece call "Classical Gas" by Mason Williams. It was literally done completely by him in a studio and would be impossible for him to do live as he played ever guitar in the pieces using different tracks. Now I've seen him do it live with an acoustic guitar but he was always playing along with the other tracks similar to lip sinking.
