dinner tuesday, 6/5/12

i'm struggling to stay awake- dunno yet. dinner is a side-thought of cookies, fast food & pop lately

I'll pick up something from the store deli on the way to work.

I have a skirt steak marinating that will hopefully turn into fajitas. I'm also going to try a recipe that I saw on Chowhound for pickled onions.

Mommy "T" ..went to the bank early this am, and she picked up 2 of those Breakfast Burrito's at the Macdonalds.
I just heated them in the zapper, and they were really good. I was surprised....

Then..DW went to the docs and on the way back...she got us a Subway 1/2 a hoagie each...

Me.. a three slice ham and one slice (cut in two ) piece of swiss cheese, and a half pound of lettuce and two slices of tomato.

Her... a meatball hoagie with 5 yes 5 small marble size meatballs with sauce.

SOooooo...tonight it will be C H I C K E N soup!...

I'm so Happy I could ...L O L

Dw is making chicken parm with a side of s'ghetti. Maybe a salad...maybe not.

Bought a new skillet from Walmart a few days ago and used it for the first time this evening.

The cheese grilled sandwiches are done nice and even.
Good Choices of handy appliances.....

Today we had Breakfast Burrito's in the AM

Then lunch was ( From Subway ) a Ham Hoagie for me with 4 thin 1/2 slices of ham / and 1 slice of swiss cheese cut in half. i guess it was too wide to fit on the sandwich!

Then a ton of lettuce all fluffed up.

Tina had a baby meatball hoagie..with 5 marble size meatballs.

Supper was Chix Soup that Tina made.
Hers was with noodles that she made with flour and eggs...and swirled the slurry in the hot soup broth...

I don't like slimey mushy noodles like that....so I had PA Dutch noodles. Shredded Locatelli Romano cheese on top, and lots of black pepper.....

DH came home with steaks and ready made mashed potatoes. Think I'll cook some fresh green beans to go with. He also came home with six containers of fresh raspberries. Wish I had some good vanilla ice cream to go with them.
