It is Tuesday, so we're having Tacos! Nothing fancy. Beans and Taco meat from the freezer. Maybe I'll make rice too...or maybe just extra tacos...

French Onion Soup & a Salad.
Started with a no name brand of soup.
It actually had a lot of tasty onion in it,
Thin sliced harden French Bread. A excellent
Swiss cheese..

Using up leftovers! Pastrami, Swiss, mustard and Swiss cheese on a zero carb spinach wrap with sauteed zucchini, mushrooms and onions seasoned with S&P, thyme and a splash of sherry

I made a dinner salade with Costco pre cooked chicken, Kalamata olives, cucumber dill salad dressing, and topped with Parmesan cheese.

We signed the closing papers on our new Permanent home this morning.
Went to Molcajetes for lunch to celebrate!
I didn’t take pics but had the lunch special of Pollo Al a Crema, no rice, whole beans and fresh corn tortillas. The “pig” is full!

I'm taking a page out of Kathleen's book...we're having Swedish Meatballs, mashed taters and Harvard beets. All cheater versions. Meatballs/gravy from Costco, taters are OreIda and I finally ordered the canned (jar) Harvard Beets...we'll see how they stack up to homemade.

Air fryer cod fish sticks and crowns. Quick, easy, and didn't heat house too much.

Nancy made chicken breast stuffed with feta, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and seasoned with garlic powder. It was tasty but the large piece I chose was from a tough old bird and could hardly cut it. Her small piece was tender.

Oh Oh. It was braised pork steaks and onions and potato wedges'. Apple sauce to eat with it. The A/C is tuned on, and it's 73 degrees in the house. We have no appetites when the heat rises.
It was a sudden heat wave that hit 86 degrees ... c'mon frosty...come on back.

I'm trying a new recipe. It is a sheet pan meal for Lemon Butter Garlic Shrimp and Asparagus. I think we'll have baked taters too.

Had my first new meal in ages - cheeseburger in 1/2 pita, with crispy green beans.

Escarole and beans, Italian seeded semolina bread to dip. Was good and have l/o's for tomorrow. No pics.

After a few days of leftovers, we had breakfast for dinner. Scrambled eggs with cheese and mushrooms, hashbrowns cooked in duck fat, bacon, toast with jam. It was very yummy! Also sat outside to eat dinner for the first time this year.
