Dinner. Friday Jan 30/'09

Well as someone who has dealt with the IRS up close and personal no thanks. They lead to my early retirement, ant taking every thing I owned to pay them back, thank you very much. I simply let them take what they want and don't worry about it any more. The business as a full load of accountants to handle that.

oh, i got it.

you're one of those decent folks.

nice to meet ya.

j/k.

i'm also a person who doesn't mind paying taxes, fair share or not so long as me and mine are gettin' edumacated, protected, and are free to pursue happiness (not manufacture or prevent the lack of such in others).

I have always figured that if my income taxes are going up, that it is because I am making more money, so I haven't ever worried about them either. I've always done my own taxes, or done them on the computer with Parsons Tax Exchange (bought out by Intuit) or TurboTax. For more than twenty years, I helped my MIL with her tax prep business. I used to read the IRS pubs for light reading; they were a lot easier than computer manuals of the day!

Not really Tom just don't make enough personal income to worry about with just my wife and I. Beside I'm 2 1/2 years from social security and she is 3 years away.
