so, let's see your desk. i hafta clean before i can post an okay pic, hehe. chit. cleaning is not my friend sometimes. anyhoo, let's see where ya post from, huh?
 
On your desktop, right click and go to “Arrange Icons By”. Then uncheck “Show Desktop Icons” for an instantly clean desktop! :yum:

Cool wallpaper, Keltin.

I use my laptop and my phone to post, so I don't really have a designated desk space. I could be in the kitchen, the family room, waiting to pick up the kids, etc... :)

Was this a request for a pic of the physical Desk/Office area? I feel so blonde right now!

Mine's a mess that no amount of right-clicking will fix. :lol:

So many wires for all this darned equipment. Modems, routers, playback devices, fans, 2 PCs, cables, HD playback, monitor, speakers, vonage, phone, blank media, and on and on.

Well, you've seen a pic of it Mary, but it's a mess, yes?!?!

Possibly I'll take a shot of it next week, you know... when I get around to cleaning it off.. papers, tissues, empty coffee cup, pens, notes.. etc...:ohmy:

i am posting to see the way yins' desks themselves look, though input of various sorts is appreciated, too!

Ok, fine, I love luv’s spirit. Here’s mine. I’ve tucked my office into a corner that leads to the Dining Room. Nothing fancy, needs some cable management, but it gets the job(s) done. :biggrin:

DW is still getting on me about cable management. It’s a fright! Bad thing is, I can’t tie them up and hide them as they have to move and be re-connected depending on the job. So, gots to deal with the web! :lol:

DW doesn’t grieve me that much though. She understands but likes to pull my chain. I could probably clean it up with in-wall wiring and connector arrays…….but really………I’m too lazy for that! :lol:

I’m always available for in-house consultation and clean-up, So let me know. Be warned though, I’m not as “picky” as DW, and I’ll let some things slide, so you may want a second opinion!!! :yum: :yum: :yum: :yum:

 
Our computer desk is right next to DH's ham radio equipment. No way am I putting this mess on the web!!! As a matter of fact I started to walk into the room three weeks ago and tripped over some coax that he had on the floor. Kept telling him that the room was a hazard but nothing was done until after the ER visit. I did a nice job of skinning my right shin. Still going for treatment on that.

The rest of the house is the same right now but a little safer. We're in the process of emptying out a storage unit and cleaning out the garage.
 
I took one of the bedrooms my house and made it into an office kind of. There are two PCs an old Gateway with XP and an HP everything else is HP except the one Gateway PC. I put a small sound bar under the HP monitor that I really like speakers in the HP monitor our very poor. With glass tabletop desk I have to clean of all time. At least once a week wipe them down some Windex.
