Here ya go peeps I'm hoping to make this tomorrow so I will try to take pics then.
Chinese Fried Garlic Chicken
2 lbs of chicken pieces (preferably legs or wings)
1 egg
1/4 cup of beer
2 TB soy sauce
3 TB garlic salt
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp baking powder
dash of pepper
Par boil chicken until well cooked (this reduces the amount of fat absorbed during frying).
Mix remaining ingredients to make batter. Add chickenand toss to coat well. Cover and chill 1/2 hour.
Deep fry chicken pieces in vegetable oil at 425 F until golden brown.
