Car ride with Grandpa

TexasGirl

The Invisible
Grandpa had a ritual he looked forward to every Sunday morning. He would take his 7-year old granddaughter out for a drive in the car for some bonding time - just he and his little granddaughter.

On one particular Sunday, however, he had a very bad cold and didn't
feel like getting out of bed at all. Luckily his wife came to the
rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter out for the Sunday drive.

Upon their return, the little girl anxiously ran up stairs to see her grandfather. 'Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?' he asked.

'Oh, yes, Grandpa,' the girl replied, 'and do you know what? We didn't see one dumb bastard or stupid shithead anywhere we went today!'

Brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?

ROTFLMAO!!! This was so funny, Stacy! My husband used to swear a lot in the car when the oldest kids were little. After a couple of incidents like that, he quit.

Driving, that is....

This reminds of a story my mum told. She was a childminder and had to go to the doctor one day. My dad drove her there with three 2/3 year olds in the back and the car park where our doctor was was a nightmare. As they went in something happened and my dad said "bloody car" and there was a chorus of repeats from the back. He was much more careful what he said in front of them afterwards.
