Nancy is making this today. She cut up one batch but then after reading about the fungicides, pesticides, and wax coverings used in growing non organic fruit she threw it all away and started over with organic oranges, lemons, and limes. She will use these in next years fruit cakes. I’m hoping to get some to make a mince pie but doubt she will give any up.

Recipe/technique please?
She follows a recipe she found on like but tweets it a bit. They say you should boil the peelings in water first. She finds it takes away flavour and tartness from the peels so she boils in sugar water. It’s pretty basic.
