Canada's Harvest Meats is recalling Harvest brand Polish sausages from the marketplace because they may be unsafe due to undercooking, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced.

Consumers should not consume the recalled product, which has been sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories and Ontario.

The Harvest Polish sausages have a UPC code of 057393700178 and "best before" date of March 15, 2021.

CFIA said it is verifying that the industry is removing the recalled product from the marketplace. The agency said the recall was triggered by the company, and CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to the recall of other products.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product, CFIA said.
