Alligator attack: 90-year-old Collier woman remains in critical condition after leg amputation

The 90-year-old Collier County woman attacked by an alligator Wednesday remains in critical condition Thursday morning after part of her leg was amputated.

Another gator attack. I hope she makes it through the potential infection. We had a guy get bitten on one of our golf courses and it took six months of antibiotics. At age 90 it could be fatal. And then there was the lady killed on Sanabel a few years ago, but that one was larger than 8'. Scary story.

Looks like bullets probably killed the gator. I wonder who had been feeding it before this incident?

With the excess water the little buggers are moving farther west away from the Everglades.

She is one tough Granny. The gator's no slouch either, staying alive with a bullet in the head.
