Here is the recipe for the finished soup from the Smoked Chicken Tortilla Soup Base.
Thaw out one container of the soup base.
Add 4 15-oz cans of chicken broth and 1 cup of milk and bring to a boil.
Shred or cut 10 corn tortillas into 1/2" x 3" strip and add to the soup base. Turn down heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add 16 oz shredded coby jack cheese and mix well. Simmer the soup for an additional 10 minutes. Add 16 oz of shredded smoked chicken and 1 cup of milk and stir well.
Serve the soup with some shedded cheese and some chips.......
