Friend, Lynne, and I went in town to the Bostonia Publik House for their Bloody Mary brunch bar. It's a great old Boston-type place, with a wonderful menu at very reasonable prices. However, all Lynne and I wanted today was their Bloody Mary bar. For $20, they give you a Bloody in a tall glass and you go over to the buffet, grab a celery stalk and some toothpicks, then you get one pass to stick whatever you want into the celery.
Neither of us like shrimp (there was a ton of it), but the spare ribs were fantastic, the pepperoni slices and cheese chunks excellent, the chicken nuggets and slim jims were good. The buns of the mini cheeseburger sliders were stale, so I left those on the discard plate.
The bartender was terrific and we loved the atmosphere. A really good take!
