Not anymore. I had a Harley in the 80’s, sold it, thinking I’d get another but raising a family and buying a house took precedence.Anyone here ride a bike (motor bike) by any chance?
Fortunately, those type seem to be in the minority. That being said, we are all "protective" of the bike make we ride so to speak. They can be some real assholes around here. Spit in your helmet at the bar kind of assholes if you ain’t riding a Harley.
I love to ride and ride mainly solo and one up BUT riding is a hobby so the real world has to take priorityNot anymore. I had a Harley in the 80’s, sold it, thinking I’d get another but raising a family and buying a house took precedence.
Nice ride! I bet the old girl will really grunt with new headsI've done some mods to the old girl, S&S Air system, Andrews 27 Cam, Vance and Hines Dual Exhaust, Mustang Touring seat, grey tinted adjustable windscreen, engine gaurd, foot boards and highway pegs, Trucklite LED Head light and passing lights. Last thing I want to do is replace the heads with higher compression heads for a bit more kick than I get at the moment![]()
I understand brother! Thanks @Ironman - yeah having full compression will be nice
As it is she moves along very nicely - that being said I am a pretty "staid kind rider" 70mph is my max and I normally cruise the back roads at 55 - 60. I like to finish my rides and be able to get up the next day and do another one![]()
