I'm pretty excited... I'll be bartering violin lessons for a 1/4 beef, from the rancher! woo hoo! Natural, grass-fed beef from a ranch 2 hours east of us. We've never been able to purchase meat in bulk before, budget reasons, so I'm looking forward to it.
One can go online and find beef producers in your state. Ours has a website, then can contact the ranchers directly. We have a deep freezer, 0 degrees, and it's been mostly filled with gallon jugs of water to fill up the space. We had a few items in it. Looking forward to putting more meat in it! I had this connection through a friend who taught lessons to their daughter and had this arrangement.
