Barbacoa, my way....

I did up two petit sirloins that had been in the freezer to long; trimmed the fat off and put it in the chickadee feeder, dusted the meat with chili powder and cumin, added an onion, a quart of beef broth, and let it sit all day in the crock pot. After I took the meat out of the broth added some chick was for a broth soup. I never did get around to making the rice as there was to much going on in the kitchen.

Nancy made jackfruit tacos for Peter and there was enough for him to take to work today.

Last night got the leftover barbacoa out of the freezer and had tacos. I fried yellow corn tortilla's in avocado oil. My mistake was not using two tortilla's with each taco as they fell apart while eating.
