A common term in the Boston area; I wondered if it was in other parts of the county as well.

Yes to both, although we don't call the latter "roundabouts".

I used to call them a pain in the a$$ in England.
Especially Tingley and Spaghetti Junction Birmingham lol
They've installed two now here, they're easy to navigate but people were freaking out at first.

The first one I navigated was in France with my big Buick and was scared 🚽 less.
