Baked Bean Soup

1 28 oz can of baked beans (I'm using maple bacon)
1 c cubed ham (I'm using 1/4 leftover thick ham steak)
1 cup chicken stock
Chopped celery and onion
1 t minced garlic
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 t smoked paprika

Sauté celery and onion in melted butter til soft. Add garlic and stir for a minute.
Remove from pan, add ham steak cubes til heated through.
In large pot, add baked beans (do not drain).
Add chicken stock, ham, celery- onion /garlic mixture, paprika and Worcestershire.
Heat until simmering, stirring constantly.
Serve with cornbread.

Bump! I'm liking this idea, but Dad doesn't like ham, so I'll use hot dogs. And maybe sub green pepper for celery. And serve with canned brown bread.

Orrrr, skip the bread and put in elbow Mac? Hmmm.
