I'm just home from a 12-day vacation, partly visiting my best friend in Delray Beach, FL and partly in Cancun at an all-inclusive, no kids resort. I do hate the travel part of traveling, despite having fun when I get there!

I had some good food (not superior) and a lot of good drinks. Beach surf was choppy, pools were beautiful. Had my first massage and water therapy - lovely!

Some photos.

Welcome back. Glad you had a good time. LooKS like a lovely place to stay. Funny, we had a stuffed poblano that looked a bit similar to yours a few days ago.

Wow. Beautiful down there. How were they handling Corona? We had a trip scheduled last Feb to the Dominican Republic but canceled do to the virus.
Welcome back. We missed you. Glad you had a GREAT time.

Thanks, folks!

Yes, I did have a great time. Loved having people wait on me and not lifting a finger. And man, they DID wait on us! Absolutely the best service I have experienced anywhere! Couldn't do enough for us!

Every single hotel employee had to wear a mask 100% of the time. Guests did not, other than in the lobby and entering restaurants/stores. Everything was being cleaned constantly. No sitting at bars. Buffet was employee-assisted. Salt, pepper and condiments came in packets.

We had to have negative Covid tests 3 days (done in the hotel) before leaving Cancun. Seeing all this and being fully vaccinated, I was very comfortable being there.
