i got the loose basis, though not all, of this from a market district store.

-wht. or green asparagus (grip at each end after washing & snap tips from each., peel any remaining stems a/n- (discard main stems)
-salted butter, as needed
-plain bread crumbs, as needed
-lemon, granulated garlic, seasalt, & pepper, T/T

------------------------------------------------------------------------
place enough h2o into a slightly deep pot & season with kosher salt. boil asparagus 10 minutes or until tender-crisp. meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan; season including lemon juice & add enough crumbs to loosely bind. drain asparagus well; toss with crumbs. plate & sprinkle extra crumbs over asparagus.

Sounds good. I will add some fresh grated romano and parm at the end. Sounds like a winner luvie!!

This sounds simple and delicious, luvs!

I also like Peep's suggestion to add grated cheese.
