Are you familiar with Deni?

I found a 2QT a 4QT and a 6QT Stainless Steel Electric Pressure Cooker by Deni. I've never heard of Deni. Is it a good brand?
I'm considering buying the 2QT model cuz I'm single and never entertain guests.
I'm comparing it to my 2QT casserole dish which I rarely use anymore. I now use my 1.5QT casserole dish for casseroles.
I don't eat much at this age anymore and don't want a ton of leftovers. Just a helping or two is fine.
I'm also looking at the clean up. 2QTs would be easier to clean and handle, IMO.

What are your opinions and how do you feel about my choice of a 2QT pressure cooker by Deni?

Thank you very much for your input.

Deni is new to me also. I'd never heard of them. But doing a little searching for a pressure cooker and they pop up all over. Their offerings look good and their website offers more info like handy manuals in case you lost yours.
I'd take a chance on them. If you buy one please let us know how you like it.
Here is a link to Deni's web site: http://www.deni.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.product&category_ID=27

Thanks, Doc.
Boy, was I ever wrong about the quart sizes, though. If I could edit my first post, I would.
Best Buy has these Deni appliances on sale. That could be a scary thing.

I'm not familiar with Deni either so I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help....sorry Rick .

The cheapest I've been able to find a 2QT version was about $57. Normally around $100.
I can get the 4.2QT locally for $99.
Reviews of the product have all been good so far.

They sure seem to be far better then a microwave oven. (I've never found a use for a microwave oven. Never owned one but have used them.)

I would still like to hear from more of you, though. :-)

Thank you,

As long as you buy from a place that has a good return policy, you should be fine, that way if you don't like it you can always get your money back.

I too have not heard of them. In most things I would chance it. Pressure vessels are another story. I think I see glass there which means it could shatter and metal to glass joints could wear.

Where's Mr. Gadget (Sherman) when you need him to weigh in????
