Hai Community members,
I recently bought the middle bun and Mac sauce from McDonald's, and I have to say, it turned out 99% the same as the real Big Mac! Has anyone else tried using McDonald's Mac sauce and buns at home to recreate the Big Mac? I was really impressed with how close it tasted to the original.
Lightly toast the top and bottom buns on grill. Don’t overdo it, just enough to add a little crispness. McDonald's buns are soft but have a slight crunch from the toasting.
Mac Sauce Preparation
Serve with some homemade fries or onion rings to complete the fast-food experience.
Thank You..

Mac Sauce Preparation
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- A pinch of salt
- Let it sit in the fridge for a few hours or overnight for the best flavor.
- Bottom Bun: Start with a little bit of Mac sauce on the bottom bun, followed by a sprinkle of shredded lettuce.
- First Patty: Place the first beef patty on top of the lettuce.
- Middle Bun: Here’s the trick—add the middle bun (the one you bought) on top of the first patty. Add more Mac sauce, lettuce, pickles, and onions.
- Second Patty: Place the second beef patty on top of the middle bun and top with a little more sauce, lettuce, and pickles.
- Top Bun: Add the top bun with a little more sauce if you like.
Serve with some homemade fries or onion rings to complete the fast-food experience.
Thank You..
