DH and I are taking a little trip to Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo and San Miguel de Allende. Hey, there's a "mummy museum" in Guanajuato! And great Talavera pottery in Dolores Hidalgo. We'll be back late Sunday night (2/22), so you'll see me again next week. Hasta luego!

I'll be sure to take lots of mummy pictures...these are not Mayan or Aztec mummies. They are just ordinary people whose families did not pay some burial tax during the 19th and 20th centuries. The dry weather in the mountains there (elevation almost 7000 ft) turned them into mummies. Grisly. Here is a link if you want to know more:
