This guy was sitting at home alone when he hears a knock at the door.
There were two patrolmen there.
He asked them "Is there a problem?"
One of the patrolmen asked if he was married.
The man says "yes."
A patrolman asks if he could see a picture of his wife.
The guy says "sure” and shows him a picture of his wife.
The patrolman says, "I'm sorry sir, but it looks like your wife's been hit by a truck."
The guy says, "I know that, but she has a great personality, and she's a damned good cook, too."
