Tis the season for bulk cooking...at least in my house anyway. The weather is getting cooler and it's great to have the oven on or a bunch of roasters and crockpots set out.
I thought I'd share how I tend to make chili:

That's an example of how I did it for under 10 bucks. It's a very basic version that we use a lot for chili dogs and yes, this one is a bean based one, although it does contain meats....it's just not a version that's without beans entirely. I freeze a bunch of this up every winter so we can pull it out whenever we don't feel like cooking, but want a warm meal.
