i hafta be re-certified in food service. i'm fully aware of how to wash, sanitize cutting boards & cooking /prep areas, the proper ratio of sanitation liquid to use, & food safety data sheets. i know time/temp. safety zones. i know plenty. yet, to keep a piece of paper, i hafta be tested on this...

i was iffy on that one, so bought a few to see why so expensive. i later called to see if they really cost that much or if there was a typ-o. produce guy said they actually cost that much! i'll let yinz know how they were. i certainly won't be buying beyond 1/4 lb. if i buy 'em again, tho~

a healthy cooking class. i can't pretend i'm not honored that they chose me from 90-ish others. they approached me. i said, 'yeah, i'd love to teach nutrition.' each person on the committee gave this a resounding, 'yes!.' i hafta read & make recipes. teach a very under-educated populatiation...

i saw these slabs of himalayan pink salt while getting groceries the other day. we gathered that u put meats/etcetera on them during cooking via the info provided & the packaging. has anyone bought one before~ & if so, was the salt different than a plain 'ol sheet tray/grill/pan/etc~ thanx!

that said they disliked a food, to love that food eventually. blake despised meat that was not cooked through/bone-in. so i undercooked his bone-in steak 1 night, & he devoured that steak. then, another night, i gave him a few slices of dietz & watson london broil deli meat. the stuff is cooked...

i'm likin' 'em. i think- tho, the flavor needs tweaking. less salt. the flavor was not as balanced as i would have thought. overall, i'd buy them again. my shoppin' buddy was shocked by the combo (i explained that's a very common combination.)
