Tina brought home the fillet steaks, but I put them on the list for tomorrow, after smelling the kielbasa loaf she bought. I piled it high on a hard roll with mustard. Oh so good. ( *burp* ). Had French fried breaded zucchini sticks with it.

Now I just got a call from the wife. She picked up a couple fillet mignon's, at the market so that is good news for today's supper. That's good for starters. A nice baked potato would be my choice for carbs. Yeah! Umm!.... with butter lava oozing from the mound of the potato.

Don't know what it will be for supper until Tina comes back home from shopping.

Tina made the chicken soup for supper. Had shrimp cocktail as an appetizer.

Leftover chicken fried steak, and chicken soup with noodles and mixed vegetables.

It's going to be codfish tonight for supper. Mussel's will be the appetizer in a garlic, butter, wine sauce.

Yeah! ..... Especially the semolina bread. We get it here at the Mansfied ShopRite, Sometimes, But It's not fresh. They must get it hours after they bake it. We like it fresh.

Today will be chicken fried cubed steak, mashed potatoes, and cucutzza. ( Italian Squash ), as we call it. Tina's back is doing better, so she was shopping in Chester ShopRite and the Bakery in Long Valley NJ. We don't have any decent bakeries here locally. The best are in Newark or Fairfield...

That Domino's had come a long way. DW loves the thin crust with the sausage pellets. I tell her, "I see ya got your Rabbit Pellets!" 🐇on the pizza topping. She then says, "I got Some Steel Pellets for you Mister!" 🐰

Wife Tina's recipe for Kielbasa and cabbage.** In a slow cooker...( I used a 6 Quart ).... I added a one pound ring of smoked Kielbasa cut into 1" pieces into the slow cooker and 1/2 a large head of chopped cabbage, and a large chopped onion on top the kielbasa. Added two boxes beef stock...

Had almost a pound of ground beef that had to get used up; so Tina suggested chili con carne with rice on the side...... I had a stale, hard, Dunkin plain doughnut for dessert. I didn't think to wet the doughnut, and heat it in the toaster oven.:bonk:

We are watching two of the grand kids today, so we ordered pizza and meatballs, for lunch Aurora helped Na Na Tina make cupcakes for dessert. I'm glad the little ones take to cooking / baking .... Tina has kielbasa chunks, cabbage, and onions, cooking in the crock pot for supper.

Having bean and kielbasa soup. Plus, DIL is making fried chicken tenders, DD is making a cake, so we can celebrate Great Grandson's belated 8th Birthday which was Halloween Day. What a great time / day to be born. Ice cream will be here also. 5 different flavors to satisfy different taste buds...

We thought we would splurge, for supper. LOL..... Yep! It was our $6.00 dollar's a 1/2 Lb. of Oscar Meyer Beef Bologna sandwiches, on toast; with half sour dill pickles. We could have had a beef roast for that much $ / Lb. .... Geesh!

Supper was easy.... Chinese take out of pork fried rice, and boneless pork spareribs.

Tonight will be codfish in a butter / wine sauce. Rice for the carb, and French green beans for the veggie.
