The Wrangel-St Elias National Park in Alaska established in 1980 contains more than 13 million acres of land and is larger than Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island combined. Mt St Elias is the second largest mountain in the United States behind Denali. The park is larger than the 47 smallest US National Parks put together.
