That honor goes to Bob Dylan !

Created by French animator Serge Danot, Flappy was the name of the rabbit the French and American versions. The BBC series ran from 1965 to 1977 and was rebooted in 2007, with two film versions in between. For the BBC version, Bob Dylan is said to have inspired the rabbit's name with the character's guitar-playing and laid-back hippy style also a reference to the musician.
