Nope. She doesn’t keep them. My first time eating beets, believe it or not lol. Smells like dirt but tasted good.Do you eat your beet tops? I steam like spinach then give them a shot of vinegar at the table.
Nancy made two vegetarian dishes; one with rice and baby spinach, and the other a bake portobello stuffed with chopped garlic scapes, garlic, zucchini, sweet red peppers pepper, onion, and baby brassica, topped with freshly grated Parmesan. I added Louisiana hot sauce at the table. It was all excellent and hope to have it again. Dessert will be frozen yoghurt wit fresh red and black berries.
No, Just Sunday and Wednesday and Friday !You usually have a name for each day, LT. Is Tuesday "chicken day"? LOL!

Please tell me about the spinach. Sounds very good, and I love spinach. TIAI did a piece of steelhead on the grill with cherry and alder for smoke. My end piece was on the rare side and was fantastic. Nancy made a lemon garlic spinach thing that was excellent, as well. I think it would be good with a steak.

It also has a tbs of butter, and a tbs of olive oil. It’s spinach steamed with garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
The recipe came from this Mediterranean diet book.
Thank you. I guess I could also sauté the garlic in the butter, and oil, and then add the steamed spinach, zest, and juice at the end.It also has a tbs of butter, and a tbs of olive oil.
I imagine; what works for you. This was extremely lemony with the zest added and thought it would go well as a side with steak, too.Thank you. I guess I could also sauté the garlic in the butter, and oil, and then add the steamed spinach, zest, and juice at the end.
It tasted good but wasn’t very filling. The leftovers will be breakfast tomorrow. The poached pear was excellent.Nancy is making some Greek baked egg dish similar to a frittata only no potatoes.
I'm in Vermont for a couple nights. Tonight i had lobster ravioli with a fra diavolo sauce.
EXCELLENT!
