SO glad I didn't serve it for Christmas...... Picked off what I could for slicing for dinner..... I don't even want to deal with the rest, but there is a good amount of bits of meat left on it..... 3 bones..... LOTS of fat.... soup probably not the best idea unless you like ham-grease soup.

I love that show...... apparently Captain Phil died yesterday after a stroke a week or so ago.... so sad. I really liked him he reminded me ALOT of my late FIL....:sad:

I only know because I took the turkey breast out yesterday.... I've been feeling like having a turkey dinner since Thanksgiving.... didn't get enough then.

ok so someone very sweet and wise out there in cyberspace told me long long ago to freeze my egg whites for another day when i use yolks.
the day has come... I only need whites..... but they are a frozen mass.... lol how much do I chip off to make 3 whites worth? I know 1 whole egg is...

But I was thinking I'd get my AuGratin potatoes and Scalloped corn out of the way today and re-heat.
Everything takes SO long when I load up the oven..... I'm not sure how to tackle having everything come out hot at the same time, it never works...
