It smells fantastic. The Gruyère is getting ripe and does well in this.

This is too moist for my liking. One recipe said to sauté the spinach with the the onions, which I did. Another recipe said to use cooked or frozen spinach and squeeze out the water which I should have done. It still tastes good, though.

The ham and vegetable pie I thought was French but as it turns out, she got the recipe from Southern Living. I never had any last night but had a big slice for elevensies and it was quite good. Nancy didn’t care for it but Madeline and I liked it a lot.
