I have a pork sirloin roast I’m going to crockpot tomorrow with apples and onions. Sweetcorn and a baked potato will be on the side.
Exactly… my wife wants carbonara. I guess I’ll make the pork roast tomorrow. The plan is ham steak, mashed and broccoli rabe. BUT you know how plans go ...
Those look really good to me. I've had them cut up and cold in a salad but never just on their own with a sauce. Were they warm or cold? Would you mind telling us how you made the mustard vinaigrette?Hearts of palm with a mustard vinaigrette.

She decided my pork idea was a better option. It’s in the oven and already smelling wonderful. I’ll have a bake potato and bicolor sweet corn on the side.Exactly… my wife wants carbonara. I guess I’ll make the pork roast tomorrow.
I winged it - Made a Sauce I'm familiar with..... I let the Veggies get a bit softer than I would have liked, but otherwise............ Great !Yes! Good job.
Did you use a recipe Lucky, or play it by ear?

Thank you, Sass.Beautiful dinner, Peeps.

I’ve been dieting for the last 3 months, so food was boring. Lost 21 pounds and made a decent dinner last night.
Filet mignon cooked to a perfect medium rare, topped with a red wine Demi glacé and wild mushroom smoked salt flakes. Puréed carrots. Hearts of palm with a mustard vinaigrette.

I just stuck to it rigidly. I’m Nooming. In 3 months I only went over 1 time, plus I went to the gym every single day.Geez! 21 pounds in 3 months? You and Sass have great metabolisms! Took me almost a year to lose that much!

I got the recipe from Eric Ripert’s new book. Rather than type it, I took a pic . Let me know if you can’t read it, I’ll type it up.Those look really good to me. Right now I just need a break from it. I’m going to give it a rest for a week or so, then back on until I go to France in November.
the goal is another 20 pounds.

I thought it was very good, but too tart. I added some honey to taste to take off the sharp edge.

I want to make that sometime soon... Salisbury steaks that is.I think.... so far, it looks like frozen tv dinners. Salisbury steak for me. Tina wants leftover chili.
I’m going to make gluten free pancakes, bacon and sausage. The sausage we made ourselves.Tonight is leftovers, again.
