Don't know what we'll have for dinner yet, but do know we'll be grinding, stuffing and smoking Andouille sausage today!

i cannot look beyond oatmeal-raisin cookies that u can purchase fresh, & i hafta pack a few lbs. on by Thursday when i get put onto my doctor's scale----so i figure, high-sodium, high-carb anything-- i luv french toast w/ too many doses of syrup/butter, & bacon; gotta luv that-- i'll drink my whole milk, & i ought be gravy!! gravy....... i have 2 kinds of potato to make--

Mommy Tina made a quiche lorraine last night with cheese eggs and broccoli.
It came out wet. I won't eat wet pie.
We both determined, that too much broccoli was put in the filling , and too big; and not squeezed; to remove some of the moisture.
I watched as she put it together, but dare I should comment or say anything.
I would get dagger eye's and cursed at. So I shut my MOUTH!

Nothing in the works for today's supper. Yet!

Lunch was seafood and shrimp salad on Lewis toasted 12-grain bread.
A little of that goes a long way, especially on a sandwich.
Ugh!

Family had KFC. I'm having a pan fried boneless NY strip steak (shell steak) and steamed asparagus (topped with butter and grated Parmesan Reggiano & Pecorino Romano cheeses).

I'm making gluten free pasta with cheese (mac and cheese) and tuna. I'm experimenting with Mission cheese dip, cheddar, butter, milk, and parmesan.

We had dinner at Sophie and Homer's.
Turkey (a wild one that Homer hunted on their property) bbq spicy beans and of course rice.
There was corn bread as well.
Ice cream for dessert.

Something we haven't had in a REALLY long time, smothered chicken over mashies, with peas and carrots.

I had a box of tomato bisque.... with unsalted crackers.

Snack is in the toaster oven. Pigs in the blanket ( Nathan's little hot dogs in a pastry wrap ).

sodium & fluid is my brekkie-- she'll slap my 'lil self into a hospital as fast as we may imagine blinking-- bleep--

i'm, if i may, gonna put my other knowledge of pigs/blanket-- i luv both, tho, my family makes these--simplistic pork sausage, beef, minute rice, seasoning, tomato sauce, then wrap into a piece of cabbage that you blanch/stuff/bake, & there's dinner once my Mom makes potato--

..Feels strange posting without the Porn...........
Reason being, I bought a great new camera, bunch-a bucks, get it home and find they do not include the memory card........... Launch postponed.........

Last Night was Chicken & Biscuits, (Grands) , Mashed Redskins, and honeyed Carrots...

I had a buttered English muffin with a small bit of Cheez Whiz on one side for breakfast.
A small pan fried steak for lunch.

I think we're having chili for dinner.

We actually quite liked these riblet things lol
Not as large as you'd think, but good flavour.
The sauce is nice.
Mash, greenies and little Jewish rye on the side.

That looks really good, Medtran.
I like the looks of the batter you used.
Are those hushpuppies too?

DD is frying 2 Lbs of bacon for her Boyfriend to take to Philly with him.
He restores old Row Houses there into office space. DD makes all his food for 4 days while he's there. All he's got is a microwave oven, and a refrigerator.
So, we been munching on bacon. yum!
DD also cooked some haddock and shrimp. Sampled some of that....

Tina made me two ground beef sliders with onion and ketchup. I guess, dessert will be raisin toast or cookies.

Last night , I turned the rest of the Chicken and some Sweet Baby Ray's into BBQ "pulled" Chicken Sandwiches on Burger Buns with Steamed Brussels Sprouts under an American Cheese Blanket, and a Garden Salad....

Tonight, I venture into the Warden's territory, when I try to match her delicate treatment of Liver & Onions... the Onions were always my responsibility, but I've never fried liver.... My Mom would cook it to death, but the Warden could cook it through and still keep it Fork-Tender....
I figger now's a good time, as I am without a camera, so if I screw it up , no Pics !

Fingers crossed.......

Last night was deli. Family got sandwiches. I had some roast beef and smoked turkey breast (no bread).

It should be chili with beans over brown rice for dinner.

Well, I took the Liver out too late so I dodge that bullet till tomorrow....
Got the new camera functioning, tho'....

So adjusted menu for tonight is Smoked Brats, Air fries and a 'triple' succotash (Corn, Butter Beans and Tomatoes)
:WitchBrewsSmiley:

Filet of Haddock tonight.....cooked in a butter / wine sauce with tomatoes.
Steamed dumplings and boiled cabbage .....

Ate Early !

Couldn't wait to try the Camera....
