Just find the right forum category and post em up... simple as that.

Of course with all the new moderators watch your grammar dot your i's and cross your t's:whistle:

Just use that speel chucker thingy and you will be fine!!

Seriously, though, I think I am the worst here when it comes to spelling and grammar!

A tip for anyone who is challenged at spelling like me.
I use firefox browser. With it you can turn on spell check. It will underline all words that are misspelled. right click on the word and it will show you choices for the right word. Most of the time it's right but at times I've had to misspell the word a different way to get the right spelling. :yum:

Now back to your regularly schecked thread ....

Most of the time, I type my posts offline in Word and let it spellcheck for me. My spelling is ok, but my typing could use a little work! Fat Finger Syndrome! :yum:

Same here Doc, on Firefox with spell checker on. And I have the same problem with some words, just doesn't recognize them.

I have Google toolbar installed. It has a spell checker for any text I type. It has an autofill too, which is nice for filling in online forms. And of course it has a bunch of other features I'll never use.

Man, I’m gonna explode! So many great recipes are pouring in here lately, I can barely keep up. But man this is great!! Keep it up guys!!! :thumb:

I agree Keltin. good job everyone.

I've recently found out there is a 500 post limit whenever you search for posts by any particular user. This might impact this contest.

So, I would like to see a halftime score at this point. Please check your posted recipes since Feb 1st and post the total. If you have any referrals list those also so we have your total up to this point. I'm hoping everyone in contention will post their totals BEFORE March 1st.

How about it gang? What is your score so far?

So far, I've got 36 recipes.

Man, I need to step it up!

Also, Fisher's Mom referred me. I joined on 2/03/09

I think I have just shy of 30 recipes on here. Not doing to good myself, LOL. DW has about a dozen recipes but I still haven't gotten her to get em written up for me so I can post them here.

If it were up to me, the contest would be limited to recipes that the poster has actually made, not just something copied from www.AllRecipes.com or www.cooks.com, etc. That ain't fair, IMHO, nor is it very useful -- I don't what to waste my time and money trying something no one else I know has made.

Hopefully people post recipes they have made but there is no way for me to enforce that. I also prefer your own recipes but again, that is not how I stated it when I started this contest. I will not change rules mid stream. I'll promise that the next recipe contest will be that way, as I do agree with you.

Note to everyone, If you want to play in this conest you must post your score as you see now and then at the contest end after March 15th. I will be verifying scores. However if you do not post your own score, you bascially are not entered in the contest. I hope that is clear to all.

Well, just to be fair......all the recipes I have posted are ones I have tried, no matter where I got them from, I have tried them at least once if not more. I probably should have put TNT on them, but didn't. I wouldn't post a recipe that I haven't tried because I wouldn't be able to answer any questions regarding it.

I think I've posted about 83 recipes so far!

Understood. Has to be on the honor system, and I'm sure most posters are posting things they've made and liked, not just scouring the Internet for anything that sounds good in hopes of wining The Big Prize.

But I do have to wonder when I see a recipe posted with no comments, then Goggle the name and find the exact ingredients and directions on one of the sites I mentioned. I want recipes that the posters I've come to trust on this site say are good so I have some basis for deciding whether to make it, other than just trying to imagine what it might be like.

BTW, I've posted 498 original recipes so far. Some may not have gone through. ;-)
