🌹 Still trying to get it right.
I have my dinner planned and if all goes well this will be on the table.

  1. Sesame Chicken (back by DEMAND!! LOL)
  2. Stir Fry Sesame String Beans (first run; flavors should go well with the chicken)
  3. Steamed Jasmine Rice
Any plans?

Bought some "Chinese Style Sausage" recently. Going to make fried rice with it.
Never had it before, should be interesting. Hope it's good or the rest might end up
boiled up for dog food, LOL!
And store bought egg rolls, too, of course.

I have two large pork steaks thawing.
Going to use them in a skillet recipe for creamy mustard pork chops.
No idea about a side(s) dish as yet.

I plan to make a side trip to Cuba tonight and make Pollo Guisado (chicken stew) with fried plantains. Seeing Sass's recipe for creamy mustard pork chops almost derailed my intentions, though. Those look delicious and I'll make them soon, Looking forward to pictures and a review, Sass.

I've been wanting to make them for a while now Karen.
Hopefully, they'll turn out as delicious as they sound.

I made egg salad with just egg, mayo, salt pepper and some crumbled bacon. On toasted white bread (I would have liked lettuce on it but didn't have any ) for lunch. Bacon and egg salad is yummy!!

Oven "fried" cod fillets with rice and peas.

I posted my dinner in the thread containing the recipe.

Here is the second one, all plated up on Chinet and ready to go to little Agnes next door.
She loved it.

Mama and Sass, that looks outstanding. Great job you two!

I've got a couple of bone-in pork chops for dinner, so I just might be making your recipe Sass if we have the CoM in the pantry (and we almost always do!!).

If not, then I'll grill them and finish with a honey mustard glaze.

Thanks y'all!

Dee, your pizza looks amazing.

Sass, I hope your neighbor knows how lucky she is!

Mama, it's always my pleasure to share a meal with her.
She's just a tiny little thing, in her 80's.. still drives and does everything living on her own. She's shared meals with me too.
I look out for her in a lot of ways.
She's a good critic when it comes to food.. believe me.. LOL
She and I are going to Mozart By Candlelight next week, then having dinner out.
My adopted Grandma and me. :-)

Back by popular demand is Sesame Chicken, making its debut appearance Stir Fry Sesame String Beans accompanied by Jasmine rice.

Thank you Sass. The tummy is the same as before just a dull ache but no worse thank God. Thank you for asking. XOXOXO

You're welcome.
That dull ache is probably indicative of what we've discussed.
Take care of it and let me know if it worsens, ok?
