Mini man - maxi food
Base : halved Ciabatta loaf with Italian herbs
Tomato Sauce
2 onions - finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
2 cans chopped tomatos
2 tablespoons of tomato puree
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp mixed herbs
1 tbs Worcester sauce
Gently fry onions & garlic until soft & translucent.
Stir in paprika
Add the tomatoes & tomato puree & worcester sauce
Simmer until thick.
Stir in mixed herbs.
Thickly spread tomato paste onto ciabatta.
Add toppings of choice - I had sausage, ham, sweetcorn.
Cover with grated cheese, I used a Mozzerella/cheddar mix
Bake at Gas 5 for about 15 minutes till cheese is golden.
