Served with garlic mashed potatoes, now this was a great meal
 
I see the chicken leg quarters cut that way here. I have never bought them. It is a must try. The Mexican store has them marinated. Nice setup with the BGE. CF

You know, I wonder about pre-marinated meats.
I'm afraid that what they have done is taken meat that is close to it's date, marinated it then repackaged.
Don't know that to be true, I'm just suspious.

That may be true if there supply is hit or miss. But in our store (high volume) lots of different kinds of meat is marinated. I think people just don't do there own anymore. It cost more ready marinated. I mostly marinate my own. I do see the chicken leg quarters cut fresh. CF
