Default Where to buy long sleeve adult size apron/smock

My friend says she's forever ruining her clothes and wants a long sleeved apron or smock to wear in the kitchen. The only thing I can find online is a chef's jacket.

Any other ideas ?

I would put an old oversized mens dress shirt on backwards when I didnt want to get messy in my classroom with the kids worked great.

She has triplets at home and an older child. I don't think she's going to want to wear an old man's shirt or even a bigger ladies shirt around the house. Anyway, I've seen her husband - he wears his stuff to death. And she positively has nothing left that's not stained.

I want to make this a gift for her, and waterproof if possible.

Scrubs come with long sleeves. That might work.

What's the long sleves for? She could just wear a t-shirt and an apron.

I buy oversized cheap T shirts from a screen printing supply store by the dozen. They are very inexpensive, and when they get too grungy for me, I throw them away. They will stand several washings. I buy short sleeve (that is my preference) but they also have available long sleeve.

Tell her to look into grooming smocks
I'd stay away from sleeves that go all the way down though. Unless she cooks with electric. And even then I think they'd be a hazard.

Thank you all for trying; I still think a chef's jacket is the best idea.

I used to wear these when I worked in an animal emergency clinic. They are excellent - the ones with 3 pockets. They wrap around so they go over anything and I never got a stain that didn't wash out.

We use these at work. Buttons down the front for fast on and off, and it has pockets. Plus, you'll be ESD safe!

I like it! A chef's jacket is actually too short for what she wants, and she'd need two, when one would be washed.

This is great, thanks !

No, I haven't. It's been years since I did that work. But I can tell you that 25+ years later, I am still using one of those smocks!

I don't know because I've never ordered from them. My smocks are 25+ years old! But maybe you can find similar smocks elsewhere. I just googled wrap around smock.
