How long can cooked ham stay in the fridge?

We had one of those frozen, pre-cooked, glazed hams last Sunday (Easter) and are wondering how long it might keep in the refrigerator?

It was prepared by thawing, then re-heating in the oven at 325 deg. for 90 minutes, then stuck in the fridge after the meal. We'd like to make some ham sandwiches this Sunday, which is 7 days of storage.

OK? Or are we gambling?

Hi Dave - Welcome to the site. This one can generate a lot of opinions.

I found this chart.
It says 7 days refrigerated and 6 weeks frozen. If you have a lot, I would suggest splitting it into portions of a serving or a meal. I usually put freezer paper between the portions and then freeze is a ziplock with as much air as possible squeezed out. Then you can easily take out a portion, defrost and use and leave the rest frozen till you want it.

Hope this helps.

Wow! You guys (and gals :)) are fast. Given our situation, looks like we'll be able to serve ham sandwiches on Sunday if I read your responses correctly.
