2 choices so far (unless DD offers another option):

#1 - Waffles (made with the whey strained from my homemade yogurt) maybe with corn and bacon added to batter, topped with homemade lemon curd, homemade strawberry/rhubarb compote, fresh strawberries, syrup and sour cream (homemade yogurt for me).

OR

#2 - Soup - chicken stock/broth, tortellini and homemade tiny meatballs (no Italian spices).
Well DD want meat tortellini with tomato sauce and cheese and garlic bread sticks.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Never explain yourself. Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it anyway.

That's a neat plate, Sass !

I'm thinking shelled Mussels, maybe Marinara, maybe White Clam Sauce - we'll see...

Thanks Lucky.
I prefer using the scalloped edge plates now, vs the ones with patterns.
Too busy, depending on the food plated.

Tonight I'm either going to make cheesy tuna casserole, or walk over to the church for the fish fry.

The final fish fry it was!
3 beautiful pieces of fish, macaroni salad, baked beans and a macadamia chocolate chunk cookie.

We got Chinese delivery. I had small portions of Edamame, pork fried rice, 2 pieces of sesame chicken & veggie and bean curd soup.

Later will be Trader Joe's Belgian chocolate pudding and/or rice pudding. I usually have 2 spoons of each.

Tina went to church in Belvidere, and stopped on the way back at Hot Dog Johnny's ( a roadside stop on Rt46 for dogs, fries, and birch beer, in the frozen mug ).
I had two dogs with mustard, onions and pickle on the side.
Great going down, but it left me with Onion Breath! Phew! (*Burp ).

I made myself and the grandies sloppy joes and tater tots for lunch, then took them for dinner at the new Shoney's.
I had teriyaki glazed salmon that was just wonderful.
