Thank you Sass. This was the first time I've had that cheese. It's lovely. They also have a smoked buttermilk blue I want to try.

Your dinner looks yummy.

Thanks dear.
We're going to Costco in Toledo next week.
I know they have Sid Wainer cheeses there, so I'll see if I can find the blue.
I'd go crazy over the smoked buttermilk.

That store, and adjacent stores in Parsippany, I did the Air Conditioning and refrigeration there.
Tina goes there if passing by. She said it is a great store for ethnic foods / items.
They have a nice hot cooked foods area too! The ShopRite by us in Mansfield, can't come close. Very small hot foods section.

I made a nice chicken soup. It was so good. I even cut chunks of Parmesan cheese to cook and turn into little cheese pillows. :WitchBrewsSmiley:

could not luv havarti/butterkaese cheeses any further-- deitz & watson, their cheeses rock-- those we get via deli/monger, as well, tho they kinda began to merge--- my best pal only buys that brand, as i said, 'joel, ditch that chit-cheese'..... he got rid of cheese singles that were plastic--

The cheese brand is Roth. Not sure available in another brand.

I drive 38 miles to go to that ShopRite. I love that store. The stores around here have lousy produce, bakery and most don't have a hot food bar. This store has large variety hot buffet bar, Chinese buffet bar, Olive bar, salad bar & hot soups.
They also have mobile scan so I know how much my total will be. I can then bag myself as I go and just scan the app and pay at self serve register. I usually go to a cashier because I don't want to put anyone out of work.

We are going to have BBQ ribs and doctored baked beans. The prepared heat and serve ribs were on sale so I pick some up.

BBQ ribs and doctored baked beans. We didn't really care for the heat and eat flavor. Homemade is better.

Had two plates of salad greens. No fattening bread or croutons. Why??
Because, I have a Boston Cream doughnut from Giancarlos bakery that Tina picked up for me on way back from her uncles.

Made a frittata based on a popular NOLA sandwich, the Muffaletta. Has mortadella, sweet sopressatta and hot capocollo (gabagool for the folks in Jersey). DW made focaccia and olive condite to go with.

The mrs wanted pizza last night and I was happy. I've had a lot of pizza the past few days. My mistake with this one was not laying down the pepperoni first.

Tonight is street tacos.

Almost a deconstructed muffaletta!

How did you like this meal compared with the sandwich, Craig? I've been craving that sandwich lately and hope to make one soon.

I did the oil and oven cauliflower thing lol

This soup is good.
Very garlicky!
I had two bowls, had beet/sea salt crackers on the side.

That looks good Sass. What's in there?

Thanks.
The base is turkey broth.
Roasted cauliflower, sliced onion, baby spinach, minced garlic , seasoning salt and parsley.
I just threw it all together after the cauliflower roasted and let it simmer.
The little red flake is a beet cracker crumb. Ooops.

Much rather have the sandwich. I should have cut the meats into smaller pieces.
