The first version I ever heard: Three Dog Night 1969 ro 70. I love the drum beat they added ....no one else had done it like them.

Most folks don’t realize but Three Dog Night was named for my three cocker spaniels Kirby, Maggie Mae, and Kiss. :mrgreen:

I'd never heard that before ...but I did hear that when it was extra cold up north (Alaska or Canada I'll guess) the folks camping would have 3 dogs sleep and cuddle around them to keep them warm ..thus it was a three dog night.

No clue if there is any truth to that. Heard it decades ago. LOL

Truth is they didn’t know me but if they had they would have liked my dogs :bounce:
