I had just spoken with Aubs not that long ago.
I'm thinking mid-July.
She was tired of fighting.
Just plain tired.

Unique? Lol yes.
What a sweetHEART she had.
We used to babble on over the phone years back.
I always told her, if you need me, you know where I am.
Her Pittsburghese was something else.
She spoke exactly as she posted her words on the forum.
I once told her she sounded slightly Scot, she told me I still had a Yorkshire twang.
We spoke of careers, food, friendship, family and love.
I had the chance to meet her when I travelled to Pittsburgh not that long ago, but I couldn't get in touch with her.
That would have been great.
She sure left a mark on the world, and every forum she visited.

So sad. RIP Aubrey. Way to young. So sorry you had to go through so many health issues, but proud of you for keeping your head up and always having a positive attitude. Amazing person with a huge heart ....and I'll never forget the Pittsburgh-ese.

I am terribly sorry to hear this. Her mom must be devastated.

Thank you for telling us, Lollie, and for sharing some of Aubrey's back story.

Rest in peace, L'il Chef.

That is so very sad. My condolences to her family and friends.

I remember her on DC saying that she was starting culinary school. She was so excited. I was happy for her when she graduated. She looked so cute in that tall hat and white jacket.

Thanks for letting us know, Sass.
