There are sooooooo many types of anti-virus out now. Which ones do you use and how would you rate em?

AVG is tops in my book. We use Norton at my day job, and pay a good bit for it. I think AVG is easier to use and it seems to do a better job. I use it on all my home computers.

I use AVG as well. I also have Defender running and Safe XP. I clean daily with CCleaner and CleanCache. I run AdAware every few days or so.

AVG. Only had one virus get me, - I shouldn't have been on that particular website anyway. no more midget porn for me.

Do you automate the running of AdAware or do you have to do it manually? I'm hoping I could set it up to run automatically. :D

We have a mixture.

My backup laptop, toshiba 9100, has the Zone Alarm Suite. No problems at all.

My regular laptop, HP 8315, has Norton Security Suite. Seems to do its job but really slows the computer down at times, especially at boot. I get in strange arguments with it at times too. :hammer:

My wife's laptop has Norton 360. Much better than Security Suite but still seems to slow things down at times.

The Norton came with the laptops. I plan to replace it with Zone Alarm when the subscriptions run out.

I am using Norton Anti virus software. It blocks viruses and spyware with advanced protection. It helps protect your entire computer by stopping viruses, spyware, and other security risks. Norton AntiVirus works in the background so we can surf the Internet, read the news, play games, and download software or music without disruption.
