Last night was pan seared sea scallops with lemon butter and a side of steamed broccoli and cauliflower.

Saturday night I made a riff on Zuppa Toscana and used spinach instead of kale:

That soup looks wonderful and have been meaning to do it myself.

Tonight will be be veg from the CSA and leftover chicken pot pie.

Tonight is sloppy joe's, cauliflower, and a salad.
I was going to grill burgers but have been wanting
sloppy joe's.

I'm putting the cake baking off till the weekend so
Amelia can help.

I shall be stopping at a place called Pat's here in town (on my way to work) for the stuffed pepper soup (bowl) and a chix salad croissant.
Dawg's recipe's got me jonesin' for it lol

Here's tonight's plate: gnocchi, meatballs, and marinara. I do a northern Italian style with carrots and no oregano, just parsley and basil with garlic onions and mushrooms.

Had take out Chinese tonight. Egg rolls, Pork fried rice, Shrimp and snow peas.
I was so full....and two hours later, I was hungry again.

Ham,asparagus and gruyere cheese quiche is what I had for dinner yesterday.
Glad I got there in time and before they'd sold out.

Today is the second day of the fall festival at my church.
They have fabulous dinners.
Chicken and roast beef, mash and gravy, noodles, dressing, corn, coleslaw, dinner rolls and cranberry salad.
Last year the church sold nearly 5,000 dinners.
