WASHINGTON, May 14, 2009 - Wayne Provision Co., a Vernon, Calif., establishment, is recalling approximately 2,075 pounds of frozen pork sausage products because they may contain undeclared allergens, hydrolized soy and whey, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. Hydrolized soy and whey are known allergens, which are not declared on the label.

The problem was discovered by FSIS during a routine product inspection. FSIS has received no reports of illness due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should contact a physician.
