In the last seven days this little burg has seen a hot air balloon gathering, rib fest, chalkfest, 3 concerts, and a world championship kayak competition including participants from 27 countries including Olympians who were here for 10 days. Tonight the fun continues with a free Josh Gracin concert outside on the town square a half a block from my place. Two of my golf buds, brothers, who own the local Pepsi distributorship are footing the bill. Wow!! Streets in the area will be closed due to the overrun of thousands of fans. Except for the Gracin equipment folks, all of the workers are volunteers from Pepsi and the fenced off area in front of the stage is for them.
