I think I've only seen one movie where cooking was the main theme, but I don't remember the name of it. It was pretty forgettable, even with Catherine Zeta Jones as the star. Watchable, but not memorable.
Then there's Man, Child, Eat, Woman.... something like that. That was kinda food based, probably not as much so as the first one I mentioned, but a much better movie. Too lazy to look up the actual titles ;^)

I think that was Eat, Drink, Man, Woman :)

Like Water for Chocolate is another, although I didn't see it.

How about Fried Green tomatoes - though it is so long since I've seen it, I've forgotten what it is about

Babette's Feast is possibly the best cooking movie of all time, followed closely by Like Water for Chocolate. Eat Drink Man Woman is another good one. Chocolat is excellent as well. What's Cooking is great to watch showing traditional cooking from 4 different ethnic backgrounds in one film.

Have you seen any that aren't animated?

Miniman, Fried Green Tomatoes is about a murder mystery/love story set in the south, pretty sure it's in the 1940s. There is some cooking, but it's minimal, although the scene where Ruth is teaching Igey how to cook is priceless. And then there's the bbq / hog boiling time.

Twilight (stylisitc vampire movie) has a great cooking/kitchen scene. Very fun. Notice they are using computer vids to learn to cook!
